I initially was looking at the Canon PowerShot G7. When I went to a local camera store to look at it in person, they had mentioned the camera will be discontinued soon. Thus, I decided to do some research and found the new Canon PowerShot G9 would be announced by the end of the month. To my happiness, the camera was announced today! Can you tell what I want for my birthday??

We currently have a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P10, however, lately we are noticing how much we take pictures and are outgrowing our camera.
